About the Program: The Small Business Leaders Awards program recognizes the very best of our community’s business leaders. Each year a judging committee interviews the nominees submitted and recipients are chosen in a variety of categories, including New Business, Employee Relations, Business Innovation, Community Service, Veteran-Owned, Non-Profit, Business Achievement, Franchisee, Mentorship and Conquering Adversity. In addition, the North SA Chamber recognizes one business as the Small Business Advocate of the Year. The evening culminates in the presentation of the Small Business Leader of the Year.

Personally Speaking: Ken has been active with the North Chamber since arriving in San Antonio in 2001. He has previously served on the SBLA committee from 2006-2008, was the chair for the 2015 and 2016 programs. Ken is also a Leadership Lab graduate from the class of 2006 and a member of the North SA Chamber Board of Directors starting in 2016. “The North Chamber has distinguished itself as a consistent and influential advocate for small business in San Antonio.  I and Generations are thrilled to have the opportunity to further assist in this effort through the SBLA program,” says Ken.
