Dr. Martinez studied Philosophy in Rome, Italy. He earned a BA in Business Administration from UIW, an MA in school leadership from St. Mary’s University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from St Louis University. Dr. Martinez holds certifications in school and organizational leadership and has over 15 years of experience serving non-profit organizations. Dr. Martinez has served as a teacher, a director of mission and ministry, executive director of advancement and enrollment, principal, school president and executive director for the Red Cross. Dr. Martinez had August 21st declared as Daniel P. Martinez day by the Mayor of Houston and is the recipient of the Archbishop’s Medallion. Dr. Martinez serves as an adjunct professor of business at UIW and is a Board Member for the Economic Development Corp. with Balcones Heights
