Morningside Ministries Senior Living Communities Appoints Patrick Crump as New President and CEO

After an extensive nationwide search, the Board of Directors of Morningside Ministries Senior Living Communities is pleased to announce the selection of Patrick Crump as the organization’s new President and Chief Executive Officer.
 
In his new role, Crump will oversee the operations of Morningside Ministries’ three senior living campuses, which offer retirement and assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing and rehabilitation services in San Antonio and Boerne. 
 
“Patrick Crump has broad experience in faith-based senior living and has garnered deep respect among his colleagues for his innovative and energetic leadership,” said Morningside’s Board of Directors Chair Bob Scott. “He is ready to lead Morningside Ministries into a new future while maintaining its rich history of compassionate care.”
 
Crump joins Morningside Ministries with 20 years of experience in long-term care He most recently served as the Vice President of Operations for Buckner Retirement Services in Dallas and the President of Baptist Memorials Ministries, a subsidiary of Buckner Retirement Services. Crump holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration and a Master of Science Degree in Gerontology from Baylor University.
 
Crump is delighted to continue his career in aging services with a mission-driven, faith based organization, stating: “I look forward to being a part of an organization which takes seriously its stewardship of resources [both] financial and human, as well as working with a board that wants to find ways to serve older adults.”
 
Crump is the current Chairman of the Board of LeadingAge Texas as well as a member of the Leading Age National House of Delegates. He has also served on the Board of the Grief and Loss Center of North Texas, the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of San Angelo and the Baylor Alumni Association.
