SWBC is excited to announce its Employee Benefits Consulting Group (EBCG) is the first San Antonio insurance agency/brokerage firm to have a Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist (CCWS) on staff. Leigh Ennis, SWBC’s Wellness Program Manager, was certified by the Corporate Health & Wellness Association in May after completing course requirements through the non-profit association.

Ennis is passionate about helping others live a healthier quality of life through awareness and education. Through her role as SWBC’s Wellness Program Manager, she facilitates hundreds of on-site biometric screenings and results presentations and creates wellness challenges and incentive programs.
 
“Cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and stroke are killing our country,” said Leigh Ennis, SWBC EBCG Wellness Program Manager, CCWS. “Seventy-five percent of those deaths could have been prevented. My goal is to encourage and educate people to take charge of their health.”
