SeaWorld San Antonio opens 2015 season Saturday, January 31st with first of five Wild Days Weekends

SeaWorld San Antonio will kick off its 2015 season Saturday, Jan. 31, with the first of five “Wild Days” weekends spotlighting amazing animals and   globally-recognized animal conservationists in special shows at the Nautilus Amphitheater.             

The animal experts featured during the five weekends will include Bindi Irwin, youth animal ambassador, in an all-new show and “Jungle Jack” Hanna, star of two nationally broadcast TV shows detailing his international animal adventures.

Generation Nature LIVE
Irwin will host Generation Nature LIVE on Saturday, Feb. 21, and Sunday, Feb. 22. Bringing GenerationNature.com – the kid-centric website – to life, Irwin will headline a high-energy, fun-filled show designed to inspire kids to become “Game Changers for Nature.”  Families can play interactive games to uncover their family’s “Nature IQ,” enjoy special appearances by some of SeaWorld’s favorite animal ambassadors and learn how they can take action to make a big difference for wildlife.

Wild Days with Jack Hanna
Guests can join “Jungle Jack” Hanna for two days of wild animal shows and autograph signings when he visits on Saturday, Feb. 14, and Sunday, Feb. 15.  They can also celebrate Valentine’s Day with a “Dine with Jack Hanna” get-together on Saturday, Feb. 14 and enjoy an all-you-can-eat barbecue meal at Ports-of-Call for $19.99 plus tax for adults and $14.99 plus tax for children (age 3-9). The other “Wild Days” weekends will feature the following shows:

  • Saturday, Jan. 31, and Sunday, Feb. 1: “Wild Days: SeaWorld Live! with Chuck
    Cureau”
    – SeaWorld San Antonio’s own animal expert and TV personality Chuck Cureau will host a show with fascinating animals and amazing stories of rescue, rehabilitation and preservation.
  • Saturday, Feb. 7, and Sunday, Feb. 8: “Wild Days: Amazing Animals” – A professor and his students will go on a quest to learn about some of earth’s amazing animals including lemurs, spoonbills, porcupines and other intriguing species from all over the world.
  • Saturday, Feb. 28, and Sunday, March 1: “Wild Days: Flying High” – This live show will introduce guests to some feathered friends from “Last Chance Forever,” an organization dedicated to the rehabilitation and release of sick, injured and orphaned birds of prey into their natural habitats.
