SWBC Employee Benefits Consulting Group Launches Signature Wellness Program

SWBC Employee Benefits Consulting Group (EBCG) is excited to announce that it has launched its Signature Wellness Program with complimentary wellness consulting and value-added services for clients. SWBC EBCG believes that investing in a company’s employees’ health makes good business sense.

“It has become increasingly important for employers to engage their employees in making healthier choices in areas of diet and exercise so that they are less likely to experience a chronic or debilitating health condition,” said Linda T. Hummel, CEO of SWBC Employee Benefits Consulting Group.

SWBC EBCG offers wellness programs and consulting services which include an activity-based component, a clinical component, and a nutritional coaching and counseling component. This program revolves around engaging employees and helping them to remain focused on making healthy choices and understanding their personal health. SWBC EBCG’s exclusive Wellness Program Manager personally works with each client to help their employees achieve their goal of a healthier quality of life.

Each SWBC EBCG client also has the opportunity to upgrade their program. SWBC EBCG has exclusively partnered with CHRISTUS Workplace Wellness and JTA Wellness to provide other value-added services at a nominal cost. The enhanced-level program with CHRISTUS Workplace Wellness includes integrated biometric screenings and health risk assessments, education, and health and nutritional coaching, as well as marketing support and mobile mammography unit on-site visits. Another enhanced level of service includes the program with JTA Wellness. Through JTA Wellness, the client will have access to a highly experienced staff of registered dieticians, including Jan Tilley, a registered dietician nutritionist, who will provide individual health coaching and nutritional counseling.

“We are excited about our partnerships with CHRISTUS Workplace Wellness and JTA Wellness, as they provide important diagnostic and counseling services to employees who are working so hard to take control of their health,” said Hummel. “Many of these services are even covered by the employer’s benefit plan.”

SWBC EBCG provides employee benefits to companies of all sizes. The group works with all major insurance carriers and providers who offer flexible plans, cost-control strategies, reduced administrative costs, technological strength, and online enrollment services.
