About the Company: The Pizarro Firm was founded by Derrick Pizarro in early 2015 after nearly 15 years at a very large law firm.  The practice is focused on intellectual property and technology.  Derrick assists companies large and small in identifying and protecting their intellectual property, and with IT contracts.
 
About the Program: Derrick serves as editor of the Technology Council’s e-Tech Newsletter, which helps keep North Chamber members informed about technology products, services, and best practices. San Antonio is home to many talented individuals and capable firms, and the Newsletter provides a great way to learn from their expertise.
 
Personally Speaking: “The North Chamber provides many wonderful opportunities for businesses to increase their visibility in our community, and to help shape the business environment in San Antonio,” says Derrick. Derrick has been attending North Chamber events (breakfasts, lunches, panel discussions, and more) since I started practicing law.  He’s an alumnus of the 2007 Leadership Lab, and later served on the Leadership Lab board.  He’s presented at past Technology Council events, moderated CIO panels, and currently serve on the North Chamber’s Board of Directors with other dedicated members in continuing to build the North Chamber community.
